A hands-free HIIT timer that runs the ratios people actually train. It counts down a work step, chimes, gives you a rest step, and repeats for a fixed number of numbered rounds — so you go hard to the chime, breathe to the next one, and never watch a clock.

Choose your ratio

Which ratio?

  • 40/20 — the 2:1 conditioning workhorse. Long effort, short rest, fatigue stacking round after round.
  • 30/30 — an even 1:1. The friendliest place to start and easiest to sustain across longer sets.
  • 45/15 — a 3:1 grind. Minimal rest for advanced conditioning and mental toughness.

How to use it

  1. Pick a ratio above and choose one exercise or a short circuit.
  2. Hit Start and give full effort for the “Work” step.
  3. Recover on the “Rest” step — the ring shows how long you’ve got.
  4. Keep going until the numbered rounds run out; the timer stops on its own.

FAQ

What work-to-rest ratio should I use?

It depends on your goal and fitness. 40/20 is the 2:1 bootcamp workhorse — long efforts with short rest. 30/30 is an even 1:1, the friendliest place to start and good for longer sets. 45/15 is a 3:1 grind for advanced conditioning. Tap a ratio above to load it; every step is still editable.

How many rounds is a HIIT session?

These presets run 8–10 numbered rounds — about 8 to 10 minutes — and stop on their own. That is a complete, hard session for one movement or a small circuit. Want more? Turn Loop on in the options, or add rounds in the sequence editor.

Do I need an app or account?

No. It runs in the browser, works offline once loaded, and your exact setup rides in the page URL so you can bookmark or share it. The big draining ring is readable from across the room.
