This Privacy Policy explains how Minute Timer handles your data. Minute Timer is built to need as little of it as possible: the timer itself runs entirely in your browser. Minute Timer is operated by Orbit Phase, which is the data controller for the limited personal data described below.
What stays on your device
Your timers, sequences, and settings are stored in the page URL and your browser’s local storage. They are not transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
What we process for accounts
If you sign in for PRO, we store your email address to identify your account and, for Google sign-in, the account identifier Google returns. We use this only to authenticate you and to manage your subscription. The legal basis is performance of our contract with you (providing PRO) and our legitimate interest in operating the service securely.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details — Stripe processes them and tells us only whether your subscription is active. See Stripe’s privacy notice for how they handle payment data.
No ads, no tracking
We do not sell or rent your data and do not run advertising or third-party behavioural tracking. Transactional email (your one-time login code) is sent via our email provider solely to deliver that message. We may keep minimal, aggregated operational logs to keep the service running and secure.
Data retention
We keep account data only as long as your account exists or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
International transfers
Our providers (such as Stripe and our email provider) may process data in countries other than yours. Where they do, appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses — are relied upon to protect your data.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can stop using the service anytime and clear local data from your browser. To exercise a right or delete your account data, contact support@minutetimer.app. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
